IN reply to Mr Goad's letter, yes I accept your apology , but please always remember that it's only one man's point of view and it is good to make it known to the public what your thoughts are as you will sometimes express other people's points view as well. Now Mr Goad you have started to write your views so please keep writing to this paper. I can see where you are coming from, you see, I am a man that believes in progress, and not standing still, but there's the other people that do not like change in this world and if progress upsets their little world they cause no end of problems to get it stopped, but in the end things do change but it costs so much money making these people see sense. If it was left to these people we would still be using horses and carts. I come from that era where horses were worked to death and people died at 50 years old by slogging on the land, and they say bring back the 'good old days'. Not on your Nelly. They were not good. People worked from daylight to dark, everyday, so please Mr Goad send in your letters and make more for us to read about.
