Clear paths make for easier walking

IT is now possible to walk along the path opposite Britten's Garage without having to step out into the road. The shrubs and hedge have been cut back and now look a treat as well as not being in everybody's way. Well done, someone!

I had a look at the Cambridgeshire County Council website the other day. I was wondering just whose responsibility it was to keep footpaths clear. There was a section on weeds on the roads.

It said it is down to the council to make sure that weeds were cleared. Not doing too well there, then.

There is another section on the site concerning hedges. There is a picture of a well-maintained and manicured hedge. Obviously this picture didn't come from Soham.
