There's plenty going on during Saturday. From 8.15am onwards the Chamber of Trade will be putting up our Christmas lights and they would welcome some more pairs of hands. You don't have to climb ladders; there is plenty to do on the ground. If you can spare an hour or two they are meeting at Brenda's Flowers on Cross Green. The more the merrier and many hands make lights work.

Later, from 1pm until 4pm, the Home and College Association of the Village College is holding its annual Christmas Fair in Lodeside. There will be stalls, raffles, tombolas, cakes, gifts, crafts, a barbecue and Father Christmas. Wicken Coronation Band will be playing, which makes the trip worthwhile on its own. Profits will go towards providing a covered area where the students can eat their sandwiches.

From 2pm until 6pm, the Soham Association of Commerce and Trade is holding the Soham Business Open Day in the Pavilion. This is your chance to see what the local businesses have to offer in the way of products, opportunities and employment. To learn more call Robert on 01353 723804.
