You could be in with a chance to win £100-worth of toys with our new Hunts Post Ely Standard Christmas card competition.

It may be a little early to be thinking about Christmas but that’s not going to stop us launching our Christmas card competition for children from local schools as we need to get your entries in.

All your child has to do is design a beautiful Christmas card to be in with a chance of winning a £100 Smyths toy voucher as well as a £100 voucher for their school.

The best card, chosen by our judges and readers, will then be sent out to all our Hunts Post and Ely Standard customers as a digital Christmas card for 2023.

We’ve already contacted lots of schools to take part and many have signed up already, although there is still plenty of time for more children and schools to get involved.

All Christmas card submissions will be printed in the paper week commencing November 6 so that readers can vote for their favourites and decide on the top 40.

Our special panel of judges will then choose the top 10 cards which will then appear in the paper in the week commencing November 27, allowing readers to vote for the overall winner.

The winner will be revealed in the week commencing December 11, with the winning card being printed in the paper and announced online.

It will then be turned into a special digital Christmas card which we will be sending out to all our customers as our Christmas card of the year.

If your child, or their school would like to take part, please get it touch via: HuntsSchools@localiq.co.uk or ElySchools@localiq.co.uk for Ely.

All submissions must be made by October 20.
