Stand-up comedian Richard Herring is coming to the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds this weekend.

The king of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival brings his ‘The Best’ tour – combining his personal favourite routines from his previous 12 one-man shows - to the venue on Sunday 19.

“The mischievous comedian has been making audiences laugh since the early 1990s and is famed for his hilarious insights into some of society’s most ridiculous contradictions, picking them apart with his slicing wit,” say promoters.

Tickets; £10-18, from www.theatreroyal.org or by calling the box office on 01284 769505.

Starts 8pm.
