A luckless start to the second half of the season meant City of Ely I lost the top spot in the Cambridgeshire County League after losing their first three matches.

But the team came back strongly in the latter part of the season and got back to their best by winning their final two matches against Milton and CoJags.

Their late resurgence saw Ely finish the season in fourth place.
