Junior captain Sizer claims maiden championship title

Ely City Golf Club’s Ashley Sizer put together a solid round of 82 to be crowned the club’s junior champion for the first time at the weekend.

Sam Quarrier, playing off a handicap of 20, produced an excellent round of nett 72 to take the handicap champions title as the club hosted its annual junior championship.

In the high handicap section, Jason Segall produced the round of the day. Playing off a handicap of 27 he scored an amazing score nett 64 to become the high handicap champion.

Jordanne Sillitoe clinched the nine-hole Stableford championship with a score of 25 points.
