Ely students of the Mark Farnham School passed with flying kicks and flying colours in the latest round of colour belt grading examinations.

The gradings were held at Providence Street Youth Centre, in King’s Lynn.

Gradings are held on Sundays and start with an hour-long training session where the student runs through the requirements for their grading, and then they take part in their grading session.

The latest round of gradings, held on July 13, saw more than 50 students from the Ely school attend.

And the students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with every student passing with good grades.

The examiner on the day was Brian Towndrow, who is seventh dan.

Students received their grades and belts at presentations held at the Ely branch this week.

Anyone interested in learning tae kwon-do in a friendly fun atmosphere should contact Mark Farnham on 07771644460 or 01553 841880.
