City of Ely Swimming Club’s Zak Bailey was crowned Cambridgeshire County Swimming champion for his age group, having won the title in March.

Zak, 10, scored the most points over three weekends of competition in a mix of sprint and distance races covering all strokes and individual medley that make up the British age-group category competition.

En route to the title, Zak won gold in the 50m butterfly, 200m breaststroke and 400m

freestyle, along with an additional two silver and two bronze medals.
