It started on the A47 from Wisbech to Guyhirn when the first lorry overturned causing the road to close.

The next was on the A605 in Ring’s End where another lorry overturned, closing the road and causing queuing traffic in both directions at the A141 March Road junction.

A Cambs Fire spokesman said: “On Thursday (18) at 6.08am, one crew from March attended a road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle on the A141 near Rings End, Guyhirn.

“Heavy wind had caused the lorry to overturn. Firefighters released the driver from the vehicle and made the area safe. The driver was uninjured.
