Thieves steal plants worth hundreds of pounds from outside show home

A collection of trees and plants worth more than £250 were stolen from a housing estate in Littleport.

Police said a pair of large terracotta pots filled with a mixture of yucca trees and shrubs were stolen from the Persimmon show home in Parsons Lane and Browning Chase.

The theft occurred between 6pm on Sunday, March 23, and 11am the following day.
