Villagers have unveiled a new sign in Queen Adelaide thanks to local craftsmen.
Stuart Green designed the project while metalworker Brian Acred fabricated it.
The new sign was unveiled in an official ceremony.
The old sign had become worn and even re painting was not considered a good enough fix.
So the new sign was created for a longer lasting solution.
Mayor, Councillor Richard Hobbs, said: “Splendid new village sign for Queen Adelaide designed by Stuart Green and fabricated by Brian Acred, a real village production.”
Local artist Mr Green runs Willows Studios from his home in Queen Adelaide, while his near neighbour Mr Acred creates metalwork from his home based workshop.
The sign can be seen outside the village hall between the two railway crossings.
