Families enjoyed a two day event celebrating country life, vintage farm machinery, crafts, horses and more.

The rain may well have dampened the first day but the sun shone brightly for the second half of the seventh Prickwillow Ploughing Festival.

A chance to show case vintage and modern country life, the festival attracts families from across the region to enjoy displays of heavy horses, classic tractors, farm machinery, ploughing, classic cars and bygones.

There were rides for all the family from Thomas the tank engine, a meet and greet with owls, JezO the magician, balloon modelling and wood carving.

Live music kept the atmosphere alive and kicking and a host of trade stands gave crowds plenty to browse among.

Real ale and a wide variety of catering completed the line up of entertainment.

The event, with Prickwillow Museum, raises money for Cancer Research UK, and is held in conjunction with TWH Clarke and Sons.
