The three people who died in a crash on the A47 yesterday morning are believed to be a man and woman in their 60s and a man in his 30s, all from Lancashire.

Police are appealing for information following the incident, which happened at East Winch.

The three people were pronounced dead at the scene after silver Kia Ceed travelling towards King’s Lynn was in collision with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction at about 11.15am.

The lorry driver suffered minor injuries.

There was also a minor collision between a silver Ford Transit minibus and a white Mercedes Sprinter van following the first collision and the A47 was closed for about eight hours.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the way the car or lorry were being driven beforehand.

Anyone with information should contact Norfolk’s Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
