Police arrest family on suspicion of shoplifting in Ely

A family of three were arrested by police on suspicion of shoplifting from a supermarket in Ely.

A 44-year-old man, 41-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Tesco, in Angel Drove, Ely, at 4.30pm on Saturday (August 23).

The trio, all from King’s Lynn, in Norfolk, have been bailed until September 24 pending an investigation.
