Firearms were seized following a police raid in Peterborough last night.

Two men remain in custody following a firearms warrant in Peterborough yesterday (November 6).

At around 6am officers executed a warrant at a property in Uldale Way and arrested two men, aged 26 and 60, on suspicion of firearms and drug offences.

The men remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.

Officers carrying out searches at the property have recovered a number of firearms.

There are no further searches planned at the property.
