Traffic on a stretch of the A10 has ground to a halt this morning after an accident involving a car and a motorbike.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Cambridge Road, in Stretham, at it’s junction with the A1123 Wilburton Road at about 8.15am following reports that a motorcyclist had collided with a car.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the incident and police closed the road while paramedics treated the man.

Emergency services cleared the road and it was re-opened to traffic by 10am.
