English folk hero Robin Hood was centre stage for Littleport Community Primary School pupils this week as they enjoyed an end-of-topic treat.

Year 4 pupils – and especially teachers and classroom assistants – enjoyed a day of Robin Hood-themed activities including archery, den building, cooking over an open fire and sewing their own coin purse.

Year 4 teacher Alison Hoal, said: “All the children enthusiastically embraced the chance to participate in so many adventurous activities and enjoyed the opportunity to try something totally different.”
