Friday the 13th was the day Littleport and their Main Street shop traders lost one of their most popular and upmarket shops.

It was the shop that put the village on the global map by producing local embroidery and printing services of the highest quality.

Littleport has actually been home to Sigma Embroidery & Printing since 2,000 when Stephen Cole of the Alpaca Lifestyle Farm in Littleport began it, and then Steve Shipp became manager when his family owned it for about eight years.

Then Kim Oakhill took over the business for some five years spending around three in the original premises which once housed the Bargain Centre in 9 Main Street.

And the village were proud to have been able to boast of a local business who had successfully built a reputation over all those years, becoming one of the most recognised embroidery firms in the county and across the UK and who prided themselves in providing a unique customer service.

Littleport’s loss is Witchford’s gain where you will find them at Unit 15, Sedgway Business Park, but Littleport local people and businesses like Flowers by Chloe will still be using the services of Sigma Embroidery & Printing.
