Littleport and Ely Timebank to hold half term litter pick

Littleport and Ely Timebank are holding a litter pick over half term on Wednesday October 25.

The groups will meet outside St George’s Medical Centre, Littleport at 10am for two hours.

They are looking for as many volunteers as possible. Children are able to participate as long as they are supervised by an adult.

Rubbish sacks, litter grabbers and high visibility vests will be provided but everyone is encouraged to wear clothes appropriate for the weather.

Stephen, the recycling champion, will be encouraging the litter pickers to separate any rubbish that can be recycled from general litter.

To help, East Cambs District Council will provide marked sacks for recyclable materials such as drinks cans.

For more information about the litter pick contact Caline Easey, co-ordinator of Littleport & Ely Timebank on or call 07702517746.
