Toddlers at a nursery dressed up as the characters from their favourite books today.

The children at Busy Fingers Pre-school in Little Downham were celebrating World Book Day, a global event which encourages reading.

The youngsters, as well as wearing fancy dress, brought books in to enjoy during the action-packed day.
