Little Downham blogger Emma Drew wins award for her money-saving tips

Emma Drew, who runs a blog about ways to make and save money, was crowned the winner in the best money making blog category at the Shomos - the UK Money Bloggers’ Show Me The Money awards

She was also a runner-up in the best money vlog and best frugal and thrift blog.

Emma was also nominated in the best social media category.

She said: “I first started making money online after graduating into the recession in 2008. Proving difficult to find a job, and having gone through a period of homelessness as a teenager, I was determined to make extra money.

“I do everything myself before blogging about it.”

As well as blogging, Emma has delivered phone books, completed online surveys, gone mystery shopping and started an eBay business.

The awards ceremony was held on Saturday September 23 in London.
