Hundreds packed into Ely Cathedral for the final of King’s Ely’s annual music festival.
Senior and international students competed in a series of heats held in the school over three weeks.
The 100 entries were whittled down to intermediate and senior finalists, each performing in the final in the cathedral’s South Transept.
Intermediate instrumentalist of the year went to Charlotte Wilkinson and intermediate singer of the year went to William Pinto, who also won intermediate musician of the year.
Emma Yembe was crowned senior singer of the year and senior instrumentalist of the year went to Carlotta Rosenthal, who also won overall senior musician of the year.
Pianist Eleanor MacGillivray won the Monica Hunter Cup, donated by Monica Hunter, a former piano teacher at King’s Ely.
The final was judged by conductor Pete Harrison, who studied at the Royal College of Music and is the musical director for Inspiration Choir in Southampton.
