An annual fund raising day was held in Ely to raise money for Papworth Hospital.
Patricia Canham holds the day every year since 1991 in memory of her late husband Eddie.
At the Heartbeat event was a coconut shy, fishing game, tombola, crafts, cake, jams and gifts.
The fun-packed day at St Mary’s Church in Ely also feature a prize draw, as well as entertainment provided by the Littleport Riot morris dancers and musician, Duncan Maletka.
Mrs Canham is an enthusiastic fundraiser who has raised almost £30,000 for the charity to date.
She said: “Eddie was originally treated for a heart attack at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in 1991. We couldn’t afford to give money at the time, with my daughter in school and Eddie unable to work due to illness, so we held a coffee morning in our home.
“After that, it became an annual event, moving from our home to church halls.
“Since Eddie received a quadruple heart bypass in 2006, the proceeds have gone to Papworth Hospital and he was very passionate about raising this money.
“The last fundraising day he was here for, he made one-hundred-and-sixty jars of jam!” she said.
Eddie died in 2009 and Mrs Canham continued with the event in his memory, supported each year by many family and friends.
She said: “Papworth gave him a good quality of life for those last three years and that’s something I’ll always be thankful for.”
The event was opened by the Mayor of Ely.
