A nightclub which closed its doors earlier this year has been put up for sale by its owners.

Jar Jar’s, in Fore Hill, has been offered for sale by Lambert Smith Hampton, which has valued the three-storey property at £550,000.

The building measures more than 4,700sq ft and has a rateable value for business rates of some £29,000.

The listing reads: “The property comprises a three storey end of terrace building of traditional brick construction with a pitched roof.

“There is an extensive single storey extension to the rear of the property with a flat roof. Internally the ground floor comprises a nightclub with bar and seating area, with further nightclub space to the first floor along with a WCs.

“The second floor currently comprises a two bedroom vacant flat in shell condition. “The first and second floors can both be accessed internally or via a staircase accessed from the side of the property. The property has the potential for conversion or development subject to obtaining the appropriate planning consents.”

Jar Jar’s was owned and run by Michael Binks, who purchased the venue in 2011.

The estate agents added: “The property may be suitable for a variety of uses subject to planning. Interested parties should contact the East Cambridgeshire District Council to satisfy any planning queries they may have.”
