Police want to speak to a man and a woman captured on CCTV in connection with the attempted theft of 11 DVDs and alcohol worth £180 from an Ely shop.

At around 2.30pm on March 8 an attempt was made to steal the DVDs and two bottles of spirits, believed to be worth around £180, from Tesco on Angel Drove.

A police spokesman said: “Anyone with information regarding this incident or who recognises either the man or the woman in the CCTV should contact police on 101.

“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
