Co-op boost Lisa Fund with Christmas fundraising events

STAFF at the Co-op supermarket in Littleport presented the Lisa Barnes’ Fund with a cheque for more than £600 this week.

Robert Barnes, who launched the fund in 2010, said the latest donation of £643.14 was raised at events held at the Wisbech Road store in the run up to Christmas.

He said: “Store manager Chris Wright and his team are doing an amazing job fund raising for Lisa’s Fund. The latest donation includes match funding from Anglian Co-op retail service too.”

Staff at the superstore are selling draw tickets for a large chocolate Easter bunny donated by Cherry Hill Chocolates of Ely. They are also asking customers to sponsor the next sky dive being run by the fund.
