Staff at a Chatteris nursery are celebrating after winning a regional award.

Clarence House Day Nursery in the town took the crown of the Top 20 Most Recommended Nurseries in East of England award by the Day Nurseries website.

The award was won thanks to parents and families who reviewed the nursery online.

Clarence House Day Nurseries LTD also received a Top 20 mid-sized nursery group award too which is for all eight nurseries within the chain including Ely, March, Godmanchester (nursery and pre-school), Wellingborough, Grantham and Cambridge.

Lee-Ann Watson, nursery manager, said: “We are all very proud of this award.

“The parents have given us outstanding feedback in their reviews and this is all down to the team’s hard work and efforts to ensure we provide outstanding childcare every day.”

One parent said in their review: “The staff there are very friendly and polite and if you have a problem they solve it right away for you.”
