A body has been discovered in Chatteris but the police have so far not been able to say if it was of a man or woman.

A Cambs police spokesman said they were called to reports of a body being found on a bridleway off London Road yesterday at 8.15am.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious,” said the spokesman.

Information has been passed to the coroner and more information is expected later.
