The Mariposa Trust charity is holding a ‘saying goodbye’ service at Ely Cathedral this Sunday, November 19.

Starting at 6.30pm, the services are the first national and international set of Remembrance Services for people who have lost a baby during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy.

Held at cathedrals and minsters, it is one of almost 20 services in 2017.

Founded by Zoe & Andy Clark-Coates (who have personally suffered the loss of five babies,) the services aim to remember and acknowledge the lives lost or cut short in a moving and reflective service.

Open to people of all faiths or no faith, the services are free to attend, and feature music, poetry, personal stories and more. The organisation also has six national support divisions, providing a range of support options.
