Local author gives talk about Water Aid at Littleport Library in preparation for World Water Day

An author spoke about a charity’s tireless and essential work to distribute clean water to the world’s most impoverished countries yesterday.

Rosemary Westwell highlighted the work of Water Aid and World Water Day, which takes place on March 22, at Littleport Library.

Water Aid helps afflicted societies get access to clean water, sanitation and health education.

The talk was part of a series of talks at the library as part of the ‘Engage’ programme, which are organised by Deborah Mahoney.

The library is looking for volunteers. If you are interested, a volunteer recruitment drop-in will be held in the library on March 19 from 10.30am- 1pm.
