LISA Barnes Memorial Fund founder Robert Barnes handed over a cheque for £7,500 to the Arthur Rank Hospice after another successful fund-raising event on Saturday.
A Motown show held at the Brook, in Soham, helped push the charity’s total past £66,000 and two-thirds of the way to its £100,000 target.
More than 180 people danced long into the night listening to a collection of the biggest Motown hits performed by the AC Motown Show.
Robert said: “This is the forth time AC Motown have been to the Brook to help raise money for Lisa’s fund and they were great. I cannot believe we have raised so much money in just two years and four months.”
