An Ely-based krump crew returned home from a competition in Prague with two trophies.

For the past three months, House of Thieves had been training at Paradise Centre Ely to prepare for the 3VS3 team battle.

After winning the category last year, the team successfully defended the title again this year at Buckyard Vol 7.

Laurence Cooke AKA CrookedDistrict also took the win in the shoe trick category (yes, that's tricks with your shoe).

He said: "As funny as it may sound, working with props is a big thing in krump. 

"Some may recognise Duzz from Funk It Up Dance Groups who regularly teaches dance and fitness classes as one of the team members in Ely and surrounding areas.

"Official videos will be coming very soon."

He added that the crew trains every week: "We would love to invite others to join us for our informal training sessions.

"Whether you have 10 years of experience or zero dance experience, it doesn't matter!

"If it interests you, then let us know! The more the merrier."
