A charity which provides mental health support to adults and young people hopes a donation will make “a tremendous difference”.

Cambridgeshire Expressive Arts Counselling Centre [CEACC] has been presented with a £450 donation from the Ely Hero Awards organisers, who were chosen as the awards’ charity of the year for 2022

Sponsors and judges gathered at the centre in Ely on February 8 to present the funds, as well as receive a tour of the premises.

Eleanor Port-Burke, director at CEACC, said: “We are incredibly appreciative of the generous donation from the Ely Hero Awards, which we will put directly towards funding a child or young person through 10 therapeutic sessions.
