A new networking forum is offering people in East Cambridgeshire the chance to share canapés with MP Lucy Frazer and Mayor James Palmer at a £15 a head two hour event next week.

Facebook Group Spotted in Ely has set up ‘The Buzz’ and will be hosting the event at Market Street Brassierie from 5pm to 7pm on August 8.

“We have managed to get Lucy Frazer MP and Mayor James Palmer to come and talk about business in their relevant authorities as well as Ms Frazer officially opening The #Buzz Meetings,” says a posting on the Spotted in Ely Facebook Page.

“Tickets for this network meeting are just £15 with free tea & coffee plus canapés prepared by the Market Street Brassiere”

Organisers say it is a ticket only event as space is limited to just 35.

“Companies can bring business cards and leaflets for the merchandise table but no banners allowed,” the group says.

The Buzz held its first meeting on July 4.
