The Apprentice
The Apprentice is back. Sixteen candidates fight it out to win Sir Alan Sugar's approval through a series of tests and challenges to become his next Apprentice.
Each week one candidate is voted off the series after each challenge is set.
At the end of each challenge it comes down to three candidates in the boardroom with Sir Alan, Margaret and Nick, where they find out their fate. One out of the three has the well known phrase put to them... "You're Fired". They then have to leave the premises and the house that they have all been sharing, and go back to their day jobs.

Sir Alan Sugar
History: Sir Alan is the founder of Amstrad. He remains Chairman of the company despite selling to Sky. He became the Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur in 1991, and has continued to remain one of their biggest shareholders.

Margaret Mountford
History: Margaret became a solicitor in private practice before she met Sir Alan at Amstrad. She retired in 1999 but has now worked with Sir Alan for over 20 years.

Nick Hewer
History: Nick started off in Public Relations in the 1960s. He set up his own PR company and met Sir Alan through his company representing Amstrad in 1983. He took care of all Sir Alan's business and profile.
